Heeeeeey.

It's been a while since I last posted here, panu kasi haggard sa tindahan namin. I have to wake up early everyday kasi nagpapasama si ermat pag binubuksan yung tindahan para iready. Ganun kasi kaaga, kasi may mga ilang customers na naghahanap ng ulam atbp. Umagang umaga pa lang dun na punta ko. Ha ha. Sa bagay OK lang, everyone is BUSY basta sa store. OK naman yung store, kahit walang kumakain masyado, at least may bumibili at nagtatake-out.

Yesterday was my scheduled exam for my OJT at SPi Technologies. Sa Sucat ito, at sobrang lapit na sa airport kaya ayun, feeling ko paalis na ako ng bansa kasi ang layo mula dun sa Sucat tatawid (Ito yung Sucat na nakikita niyo kapag sa SLEX kayo dumaan). Nalate ako ng kaunti, pero hindi pa naman nagsstart. Pero yung damit nung iba, nakacasual. Nakakainis lang kasi you are applying for an internship, yet you do not look like a young professional. Suot ko kasi kahapon, nagsleeves saka tie ako. Hindi ko inalis yung tie hanggang paguwi ko, mukha yata akong nagbebenta ng insurance. Ha ha.

The exam was madali sana, it consists of 6 parts. 2 for the personality test, and the remaining we're for the logic stuff (yung mga drawing, then what's next after this figure?) at TIME PRESSURE. Ang tagal ko magsagot dun sa last four parts, tinititigan ko kasi bawat figure to see if tama nga yung isasagot ko. Ayoko naman kasi nung bara-bara lang na sagot. Ang pinakanatapos ko lang talaga na exam dun is yung personality test. Sakto, pagkaring nung alarm, katatapos ko lang magshade. hindi naman pabibo yung mga sagot ko dun, pero dinescribe ko lang talaga yung ako talaga. No pretentions. :D (tama ba yung word?)

~Kahapon, i was watching videos from YouTube then itong friend ko ay may itinuro saking video downloader sa YouTube and may kasamang program na rin to convert it to just an .mp3 file. Kanina, nagdodownload ako ng mga favorite kong video sa YouTube then kinonvert ko sa mp3 format. Bukas ulit.

~Quiz tomorrow, quiz again on Tuesday; defense pa namin on Tuesday. Kasi for sure hindi kami aabutan niyan ng Saturday, kasi isang group isang oras. Wednesday, start na ng Finals. Puta. Napakabusy.

This is one of my favorite songs from Carey's "The Emancipation of Mimi" studio album. Hindi man siya ganun nabigyang pansin, still this song is still dear to me (wala nga siyang music vid e). Pop/gospel ang theme na isinulat ng The Voice herself plus ng isang artist. Pinerform niya ito with "We Belong Together" nung 2006 Grammy Awards and she got a standing ovation. It was her best performance after ng ilang taon niya sa music industry. Though medyo garalgal ang simula, bumawi nung gitna. Medyo iba na kasi ang boses ni Carey ngayon, parang nagiging nasal na nga e at minsan hindi ko na naiintindihan ang lyrics na sinasabi niya, yet for me, she is still one of the greatest artist of all time. Kudos to you, nakakainspire talaga.

Transport Strike kahapon.

Nakakainis kasi I was expecting nung gabi before kahapon e magaannounce ang UST ng walang pasok, pero hindi naman nagannounce, pero wala naman akong napasukan na klase kundi yung DBMS at DataComm lang. Nagquiz kami sa DBMS at Finals sa DataComm. Dapat defense namin sa Compiler pero hindi nakarating si Ma'am Cha kaya ayun, mamaya ang defense namin after ng exam ko sa Java. Nga pala, Finals na namin ngayon. Nakakainis kasi maaga ako gumising to pay my due sa Finals. E itong bank ko, hindi ako pinayagan mag over-the-counter dito sa branch na malapit sa USTe kasi ayoko nga magdala ng malaking pera. Kaya ayun. Wala pa ako permit, mamaya pa lang ako magwiwithdraw pagkauwi ko. Bukas dala dala ko yung pera pambayad. 12-4 pa naman exam ko bukas.

Tapos na kasi yung exams ko sa ibang subjects (DataComm at Cobol) kaya nabawasan yung ilang subjects ko. Nagaapply ako for OJT this Saturday sa Ateneo, natatakot ako kasi alam kong hindi pa naman ganun ka-polished yung skills ko sa SQL pero I'm willing to learn. Saka sabi kasi nung kaibigan ko na nagrefer sakin dito, after daw ng exams e interview pa ulit. Nagpaschedule ako ng interview on Saturday e, pinagiisipan ko pa tuloy kung pupunta ako kasi natatakot ako. :D Dapat before clearance may papasukan na ako for OJT. Haaaaaaay Sana makapasa ako sa lahat ng subjects ko.

Janina San Miguel: Well, my family’s role for me is so important b’coz there was the wa- they’re, they was the one who’s… very… Hahahaha… Oh I’m so sorry, Ahhmm… My pamily… My family… Oh my god… I’m… Ok, I’m so sorry… I… I told you that I’m so confident… Eto, Ahhmm, Wait… Hahahaha, Ahmmm, Sorry guys because this was really my first pageant ever b’coz I’m only 17 years old and ahahaha I, I did not expect that I came from, I came from one of the taft 10. Hmmm, so… but I said that my family is the most important persons in my life. Thank you.

~There we're so many hate comments and violent reactions because they think that this young gal is not deserving to win the crown coz she'll just slack off in the prestigous Miss World 2008 in Ukraine. Oh well, for me there's still a room for improvement. She needs to improve her English skills (grammar and pronunciation). I hope she can make it to the top. Take all the criticisms positively Ms. San Miguel. You can do it. 7 months preparation is enough for you to practice. Sana yung mga ibang Pilipino diyan, tumingin muna sa salamin at tignan kung marunong din magEnglish bago manlait ng kapwa niya. Sabi nga ni Melanie Marquez (Miss International 1979), "May karapatan kang magkamali sa English kung maganda ka!" Haha. Pero may papalit na yata sa pwesto ni Ms. Melanie Marquez. Hehe
